Trisha’s Bollywood movie to release in summer 2010.

Trisha Krishnan‘s Bollywood Upcoming Movie Khattaa Meetha will get released for summer 2010. The movie, directed by Priyadarshan, is progressing in its shooting. The movie has Bollywood Khiladi Actor Akshay Kumar as the hero. Trisha intends to do as many films as she can in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Trisha said that she likes doing films in almost all languages. She doesn’t like being tied up in any one language. She quotes Genelia and Aishwarya Rai as examples for that. Also actresses like Hot Bold Hansika Motwani, Sameera Reddy, Genelia D’Souza have made their entry into Kollywood and Tollywood. The artists are highly paid there than Bollywood. That may be another reason for Bollywood Actresses to divert to south.

Presently she has done her Telugu film Namo Venkatesa with Venkatesh.

Bollywood Meets Tollywood in Kolkata.

The dazzling finale of Anandalok Purashkar 2009, held in Kolkata recently witnessed a bevy of Bollywood Hot Actress Rani Mukherji, Irfan Khan, Asin and Neil Nitin Mukesh along with eminent Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap, along with popular names from Tollywood (Bengali film industry).

Anandalok Purashkar, a popular award ceremony in Eastern India, celebrates its twelfth year of felicitating the best on the silver and small screen, television and music.

The evening that brought the glitziest and the most glamorous of the Bollywood and Tollywood fraternity together also had performances by Pritam and his band ‘Metro’ featuring Sohail, Antara, Utpal and Soham; along with sizzling dance numbers by renowned Tollywood actors Suvosree and Hiron.

The awards were given out to the Best Actors- both male and female; best Debutants– both male and female, Best Music Director, Best Director and the Best Film in the film category.

The television category will have awards for the Best Serial and Best Actor both male and female.

Anandalok Purashkar 2009 also recognized the achievements in non-film music by felicitating the Best Non-film Music Album.

This year, a new category- the ‘Face of 2009‘ has also been introduced – for which the Most Successful upcoming face of Entertainment Industry was awarded.

And now, they’re fighting over Bollywood’s most sought after make-up artist, Pompy.

Both actresses have worked with Pompy on various commercials and films and want him to be the one styling them. When both of them sign a film, they check if Pompy’s dates match theirs. When Priyanka got ready to shoot for “Anjaana Anjaani’ with Bollywood Hot Actor Ranbir Kapoor, she checked if Pompy was available. But he was already scheduled to accompany Kareena to Sydney for the shooting of the remake of Stepmom, starring Kajol and Arjun Rampal with Kareena Kapoor.

Karan Johar returns to direct his favorite couple SRK and Kajol set again in New York, but this time in a serious backdrop, that of the 9/11 massacre. There have been many controversies created regarding the film, and it has all worked for the publicity. Let’s see if the film lives up to its mammoth expectations.

Bollywood Hot Actor Ranbir Kapoor visits kids in hospital.

On the occasion of Children’s Day Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor spent time narrating stories and singing for the children admitted at a hospital in Mumbai.

“It’s my pleasure to be here. They actually called my mother as I was travelling. When I heard about it, I didn’t want to miss it,” said Ranbir while interacting with kids admitted at the Hinduja Hospital. Ranbir sang the title song of his film “Bachna Ae Hasino” and even danced with the kids. He also sat down with the kids and read out from “Jungle Book”.

Jaideep Sahni, writer of “Chak De! India” and “Khosla Ka Ghosla” also sat and talked to the kids for a while. Ekta Kapoor and Aftab Shivdasani, who couldn’t make it for the interaction sent a set of story books for the children.

Vijay Gupta, deputy director, marketing of Hinduja Hospital said: “From now onwards we will organise such sessions regularly in the hospital.”

Bollywood Hot Actress Shamita Shetty walked out of reality show “Bigg Boss 3” to be with her elder sister Bollywood Hot Actress Shilpa Shetty who is tying the knot with millionaire beau Raj Kundra Marriage Date Nov 22.

Shamita’s voluntary exit will be aired on the reality show Saturday. “I am just so excited about Shilpa Shetty wedding. Family comes first for me, so I couldn’t help but come out of the show to be with her,” Shamita told IANS.

Shamita was earlier unaware of Shilpa Shetty engagement with London-based businessman Raj Kundra until model Pravesh Rana came in and informed her about it. The engagement was facilitated Oct 24, 2009 in Shamita’s absence and without her knowledge.

At that time, Shilpa had said: “I miss my sister and am hoping that she’ll be out soon in my last few days at home.” Now, Shilpa’s younger sibling sister is all set to be a part of the grand celebrations. She had been in “Bigg Boss 3” with other celebrities and had no connection with the outside world since Oct 10.

Bollywood Bold Actors Neil Nitin Mukesh reveals details of his girlfriend.

Neil Nitin Mukesh, who has kept mum about his girlfriend Priyanka Bhatia so far, showed up with her for the first time at the premiere of his critically acclaimed film Jail. He says she is an integral part of his family and that they enjoy a good comfort level.

“My parents and her parents not only know and like each other, we also visit each other’s homes constantly. More than lovers, we’re friends first,” Neil told IANS.

“There’s a comfort level in our interaction that makes us very relaxed with one another. We don’t have to hide anything. We meet openly and are very proud of one another. There’s no pressure for marriage on either side. When it happens, it happens. The marital status would hardly alter anything between us,” he added.

Priyanka has done a course in fashion design and Neil is open to the idea of her designing his clothes for his films.

“I’d love that. But it should happen on its own. Neither Priyanka nor I want to pressurize anyone to use her skills. But if it happens, I’d be very happy to be dressed up by her,” he said.

Talking about his girlfriend’s reaction to Jail, he said: “Priyanka and my mom were hysterical with grief. They weren’t looking at just a character being put through a traumatic time. To them it was someone who they both love and he was in pain in front of their eyes.”
